Our client is boutique middle market advisory firm currently seeking to add a Managing Director within their growing Healthcare M&A Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing/originating/executing/underwriting and strategic advisory.
- Advise public and private companies across Healthcare verticals on transactions including M&A, JV's, IPO/follow-on equity offerings, private placements, licensing, partnerships and acquisition financing
- Lead M&A Advisory Practice that specializes in following verticals; Medical Technology; Proteomics, Genomics, Biomarkers, and/or Point of Care Diagnostics
- Work with industry teams on a variety of advisory projects including merger, buy-side, sell-side, spin-off, IPO, and debt financing across Healthcare Industry
- Develop new relationships with Healthcare /Diagnostics companies to win business
- Identify, screen, and diligence potential growth oriented investment opportunities and present findings to team
- Execute/Source and provide detailed due diligence on potential acquisition opportunities including initial meeting, review of performance, attribution analysis, financial review, and creation of detailed financial evaluation.
- Work directly with industry leaders and subject matter experts to develop transaction ideas
- Provide financial due diligence/risk/performance and strategic analysis to Investment Committee
Requirements:
- Min 12+ years most recent experience providing advisory services (Healthcare/Med-Tech Investment Banking
- Must have strong industry relationships and substantial transaction experience
- MBA not required but strongly preferred
- Advanced Technical Skills; Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
- Prior Management experience not required
