Job Description:
Join our Sales Team in the San Francisco Bay Area as the first SDR! This strategic role is key to our growth. You will work hand-in-hand with our Enterprise Account Executives and report directly to the Head of Sales. You’ll identify engineering teams that are an ideal fit for AllSpice, set up meetings with potential customers and get exposure to the complete sales cycle. This role is hybrid, with 2-3 days in the office per week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities from marketing leads, targeted company research, and networking within the engineering community.
• Outreach: Engage potential customers through calls, emails, and social media to introduce AllSpice’s value proposition and schedule meetings for our Account Executives.
• Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and target markets to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions, leads, and progress in our CRM system.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop targeted campaigns and ensure a smooth handoff of leads to Account Executives.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to sharpen your sales skills and product knowledge.
Qualifications:
• Passion for Technology: A strong interest in how things work, especially in hardware, engineering, or product design. A strong interest in using software to optimize work.
• Curiosity & Problem-Solving: Desire to work through complex organization hierarchies and unstructured problems to find people interested in optimizing hardware design.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for building relationships.
• Self-Motivation: A driven, proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Experience: One year previous experience in a sales development or similar role.
• Bonus Points: Experience working in a startup or tech environment, exposure to the hardware space, or working with hardware teams.
