Overview:
Our client is seeking a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technician to expand their growing team. The ideal candidate has around five years of experience as a Civil Engineering CAD Technician/Designer with a background in Land Development, Utilities, Roadway, and Structural plan preparation.

What You Will Do:
- Create and modify 3D models, drawings, and renderings based on project and client needs
- Analyze blueprints and design documents to determine design requirements
- Use AutoCAD and other software to create technical drawings and plans
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and technical issues related to AutoCAD or other software
- Maintain and update existing design files throughout the duration of a project cycle
- Collaborate with clients and other departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure all project phases are on track and are completed on time
- Involvement in data collection and information gathering used to inform project specifications
- Attend team meetings to understand and implement design requirements
What You Need To Be Successful:
- Associate degree in relevant field or HS Education with advanced technical training
- Knowledge of SW Florida Codes and Ordinances
- Knowledge of the Florida Building Code Standards
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Capable of working in a team environment
- Skilled in technology pertaining to software, hardware, plotters, scanners, and internet services
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D with the ability to use other software such as ICPR, Modret, CloudWorx, and ArcGIS
- Self Starter capable of working with minimal direction and supervision to create finished documents
- Strong work ethic
- Time management skills. Capable of meeting schedules and deadlines

Compensation:
- $60,000 - $80,000
- Final offer of compensation to successful candidates will depend on qualifications and experience.
