The Vice President of Finance is a proactive business partner, providing leadership and management of all finance, procurement, information technology and human resource activities of our dynamic and growing international business.The position is a key member of the leadership team working with all departments and employees to drive company growth, financial performance, and continuous improvement throughout the business. The role reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Duties include:
Providing analysis, management reporting, planning, and accounting support.
Preparing balance sheets and profit and loss statements, and other financial reports in accordance with GAAP.
Budgeting and forecasting
Leading the Quality of Earning process for buy side or sell side projects
Financial month-end/quarter-end close process
Creating and preparing financial analysis
Expenditure costing and profitability analysis and justification
Financial analysis and reporting as assigned by the corporate team
Oversight, establishment, and compliance of financial controls including management of external audits
Provide oversight and internal management of outsourced information technologies functions for the business.
ERP maintenance, utilization, troubleshooting, enhancement, and improvement
Personnel management
Hiring / Staffing and retention
Compliance with employment regulations
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with Accounting Major
15 years progressive financial leadership experience with a minimum of 5 years in the role within a leadership function
Proven business leader with the ability to problem solve, guide and counsel on a wide variety of business issues and foster and drive continuous improvement throughout the business.
Must be highly computer literate with data mining and ERP systems, have strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, time management and analytical skills.
The individual will be expected to be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting and finance field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, strong interpersonal skills are a must, as well as willingness to accept and take ownership of new responsibilities in a fast-growing environment.
Expert level skill set in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
CPA preferred.
