Job Description: - Work with site managers, general managers and project managers to gather and analyze data from processes and experiments, suggest improvements and assist in the basic interpretation and verifying compliance with engineering standards and practices.
- Conduct research, analysis and review activities according to applicable regulations, manufacturing processes or other considerations and develop modification of standards, specifications and processes.
- Review research, testing, quality control and other operational reports to ensure that compliance, quality standards, efficiency and schedules are met.
- Prepare reports and technical papers.
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Responsibilities: - Perform responsibilities as directed within determined time frames and with a high degree of accuracy.
- Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the department and the company.
- Maintain the professional competence, knowledge and skills necessary to effectively complete responsibilities.
- Maintain sensitive and confidential information regarding company information.
- Attend work on a regular basis and support the company's employee policies and procedures, including workplace safety rules.
- Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.
Qualifications: - Must be a college student, currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills to recognize patterns in data, information or events, to draw logical conclusions, to evaluate methods and procedures and to make recommendations for actions.
- Effective oral and written communication skills to transmit information accurately and understandably.
- Software skills to develop spreadsheets for data analysis.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Employment is contingent upon passing a post-offer background check and drug screen.
