A private defense contractor is in the market for a Corporate Financial Analyst to assist their FP&A function. This role is great for an individual currently working in the FP&A function of a large government contractor and looking for the next step in their career. Role is hybrid in Alexandria VA. Must have Deltek Costpoint.
Duties:
- Assist with annual budgets in various functional categories
- Produce financial reports to support strategic decision making at executive leadership level
- Handle ad hoc analysis requests from project leaders
- Analyze expenditure variances and provide actionable insights
- Support individual managers with the development of their respective cost analysis which build up to the budget.
- Partner with the business, contracts, and procurement teams on contract modeling/ negotiation/execution for key contracts.
Qualifications
- BS Degree in Finance or Economics
- 3+ years financial analysis experience, assisting with budget and forecast processes
- Experience in government contracting, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Experience working with Deltek Costpoint and Cognos Reporting
- Ability to commute to Alexandria VA on a hybrid schedule
- US citizenship
