The Microsoft Mid-Market Business Development Executive (M-BDE) role is an experienced, aggressive sales professional that has the main responsibility of sourcing and selling new Microsoft focused business for Sogeti, part of Capgemini, across mid-market clients. You will cultivate and grow partnerships with Microsoft mid-market selling teams to support mid-market clients in advancing their programs to optimize, transform, and grow with Microsoft based solutions. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders and negotiate with clients to drive projects forward leveraging our services.

As a Microsoft Mid-Market Business Development Executive at Sogeti you will have the opportunity to:
- Expand Sogeti's portfolio of solutions and professional services into mid-market clients across Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan.
- Strategize, plan, and execute business development in direct partnership with Microsoft.
- Engage with Sogeti's Technology leaders and solutions experts to deliver a modern portfolio of cutting-edge Microsoft solutions to mid-market clients
- This is a “hunter” role and qualified candidates must provide examples of their ability to generate organic revenue growth via prospecting tools and techniques.
- Originate and qualify leads via cold-calling, networking, social media, events and/or other sources and develop relationships with C level executives within territory Mid-Market clients.
- Maintain and grow client relationships. Induce solutions and ideas to help clients improve their business performance while innovating their market interactions.
- Work in an entrepreneurial environment with a high level of senior management access and support.
- Minimum education qualification A bachelor's degree in any discipline. MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in business development roles selling IT solutions and services
- Experience in Microsoft co-selling activities to originate, qualify, and convert leads
- Experience with the consultative sales approach in analyzing challenges of potential clients and conveying ROI and TCO concepts to CXO level management
- Good understanding of targeted industry business environments, issues and the trends affecting technology spend
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and outstanding presentation skills
- Experience with Sales pipeline reporting, forecasting and related CRM tools
- Ability to work in a global organizational and service delivery environment
- Demonstrated commitment to stay abreast of industry trends and technical advancements within the industry sectors and enterprise markets
- Ability to work in a fast paced, competitive sales culture
- High level of personal and professional integrity
