A client of Robert Half is looking to hire a Director of Engineering to lead the Engineering team to support projects throughout development stages. This
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership & mentorship to the Engineering team in professional development, best practices and cross training.
- Manage the Engineering team in the day-to-day fulfilment of support to Development stage, and Construction stage activities.
- Define project & task scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project execution.
- Maintain quality and repeatability in analysis, reports, designs engineering processes and deliverables.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of industry experience in one of the following; Utility, Renewable Energy, Building Trade, Construction, Solar Energy
- Minimum 3 - 8+ years demonstrated experience managing teams with multi-disciplined areas
- Proven ability to project manage multiple projects, tasks and timelines
- Strong verbal, written communication as well as presentation skills
- Experience with AutoCAD and knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS software
- Understand the use of software packages PSSE, ETAP of equivalent, PV Syst, SAM, LPile, Flow2D and similar
- BS in applicable Engineering discipline for the industry is required. Advanced degree
