Successful candidates must be self-starters, innovative, and creative, with a "Hunter" attitude and comfortable with in person cold-calling. This outside sales position will develop new business by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. While working most of the time out of the office, this position is required to report to the office when necessary for sales meetings and other company gatherings. We will train the right person. Some sales experience is a plus but not required.
Job Responsibilities
· Meet agreed upon monthly and annual revenue goals.
· Must be comfortable cold calling and prospecting.
· Present and sell company products and services to current and prospective clients.
· Compile action plans and schedules to prospect for and identify target accounts.
· Must be able to establish, maintain, and grow relationships with client base and agencies for ongoing revenue.
· Ability to compose presentations, proposals and marketing campaigns using company supplied templates.
· Assist clients in developing outstanding creative ideas designed to maximize their results.
· Management of long term, consistent revenue through multi-year contracts.
· Sustain accurate up to date records of all client calls.
· Driven and the ability keep up with our ever-changing industry changes, and competitor actions.
· Must be cooperative and collaborate with others.
Job Experience
· 2+ years of outside sales and marketing experience in advertising preferred, but not required
· Must be a proven sale closer with experience at developing new business
· Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience preferred
· Prior cold calling, outside sales and service experience preferred
· Knowledge of and/or experience in media preferred
