Our client is seeking a leader with the skills and experience to manage complex mission critical projects from inception to completion. This role is not for frequent job changers; we’re looking for someone with demonstrated stability and a commitment to delivering top-tier results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the successful delivery of mission critical projects in Richmond, VA, and Sterling, VA.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in line with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and execution.
- Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and manage the day-to-day operations of the job site.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
- Act as the client’s primary point of contact, ensuring expectations are met and building long-lasting relationships.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to project teams.
Key Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager in mission critical projects.
- Proven stability: must have spent at least 4-5 years in a single company.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects with budgets of $50M+ in the mission critical sector (data centers, advanced facilities, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple teams and oversee complex project details.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to foster positive client and team relationships.
- Familiarity with Virginia-based projects is a plus.
