EVE’s Americas Utility Energy Team is at the forefront of the energy revolution, focusing on developing front-of-the-meter battery energy storage systems (BESS) for a wide range of customers, including electric utilities, independent power producers, and renewable energy developers. We are involved in large-scale BESS projects that enable renewable energy integration, enhance grid capacity, and offer vital grid services.
As a Sales Manager, you will drive projects from inception to contract execution, leveraging the full capabilities of EVE’s energy products. Your role will be crucial in leading the sales cycle, from opportunity identification and project development to contract negotiations and closure.
Responsibilities:
Analyze market and competitors:
- Analyze important information such as potential customers, market scale, development trends, and market sensitive points in the target market.
- Analyze the market situation, product characteristics, market share, and other relevant information of competitors, provide effective strategies and basis for EVE's development in the international market.
- Regularly output and report market analysis, development trends, competitors, project progress, etc.
Developing new markets:
- Searching global business cooperation opportunities to explore new markets for EVE's products and services overseas.
- Actively promote the EVE brand and products, establish commercial partnerships through exhibitions, customer visits and other ways.
Tracking and participating in project development:
- Track and participate in important activities such as expanding overseas market projects and conducting business negotiations.
- Timely report progress to the relevant departments and leaders.
Conduct business negotiations and manage customer relationships:
- Seize opportunities in business negotiations and find the favorable solutions.
- Establish friendly cooperative relationships with customers by regularly communicate and negotiate, according to customers' requirements to optimize EVE's products and services.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the renewable energy or power sector.
- Proven track record in sales or business development within customer-facing roles.
- In-depth knowledge of battery systems, renewable power, and grid markets.
- Skilled in hands-on contract negotiations within the energy storage or renewables sector.
- Experience leading cross-functional project teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical skills to handle complex pricing models and project economics.
- Ability to travel as needed and authorized to work in the US.
