Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking a Windows Engineer SME to provide support to our Federal Client located in Pocatello, ID. You will be responsible for maintaining and engineering the Windows Server enterprise infrastructure systems.

The position requires in-depth knowledge of:
- Microsoft Server operating systems – 2022, 2019 Core and Server with a Desktop
- Server patching via Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), manually, or by any other means of distribution, including:
- Patching in disconnected networks.
- Scripted validation and remediation.
- 3rd party patching software
- Server baseline image building, including:
- Create/modify MECM task sequences.
- Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and Windows Assessment and Deployment Toolkit (ADK)
- Pre-boot Execution Environment (PXE) experience and knowledge creating and maintaining PXE server.
- Driver testing and packaging.
- Application packaging and silent deployment.
- Use and creation of scripts using Microsoft PowerShell
Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- Must be willing to be screened for a Top Secret clearance. You can start work when the clearance is issued. Current Top Secret clearance candidates will be given preference.
- This position shall be filled with individuals that have a minimum of Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalent certification, and ten years of experience required.
- A master’s degree is preferred.
- Must have at least 8-10 years of Windows experience on a SME level
- Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of education.
