The Company
We are a leading producer of electrical copper bar, manufacturing sheets, plates, tape, and bars, as well as fabricating components and other products used in a wide array of industries. They are ISO certified, conform to ASTM standards, and operate three facilities: one outside Pittsburgh, PA, and the other two near Louisville, KY.
The company has a proud heritage that dates back over 170 years to before the Civil War. We helped illuminate and connect the nation during the early 20th century and the industrial revolution. Today, we are engaged in casting, hot & cold rolling, annealing, finishing processes, and fabrication. We are a supplier to the construction and electrical equipment manufacturing industries, and were acquired by KPS Capital Partners in 2020, with the goal of reinvigorating the company after years of underinvestment by the previous ownership. Several changes to the management team and capital investments have been made. They are continuing to invest capital, planning capital spending between $10MM-$15MM on improvements this year.
