Soltis Investment Advisors is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to act as a critical member of the senior leadership team and business partner to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior level financial executive with a proven track record in growing a business to take the company to the next level organically and via acquisitions. The CFO will develop and implement strategies that support the growth of the company and maintain best-in-class financial processes and disciplines.
Primary accountabilities of the CFO are:
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and Board of Directors, contributing to the company’s overall direction and expansion.
- Enhance operational efficiencies with the implementation of best-in-class systems, technology, and talent to support a high-growth business.
- Develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in line with the company’s objectives and growth trajectory.
- Produce forward looking, predictive models to provide insight into the company’s operations and business plans and proactively monitor and report progress.
- Oversee the production and review of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting metrics (e.g. KPIs, financial statements) to be shared with executive leadership team, Board of Directors, and/or financial sponsors.
- Provide analysis of trends in KPIs and financials to identify opportunities and risks.
- Advise the CEO on M&A strategy and support the diligence, negotiation, and integration of potential acquisitions.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.
- Manage annual outside audit and tax preparation process.
- Actively manage the company’s lending relationship(s). Take leadership role in optimizing capital structure with use of leverage while appropriately managing lender forecasts, expectations and covenant compliance.
- Build a high performing finance function that is focused on accountability and great team performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business Administration. CPA or MBA preferred.
- Hands-on CFO experience in a growth-oriented, preferably private equity-backed, business.
- Experience in wealth management and financial services preferred.
- Senior management experience including regular cadence of Board of Directors and c-suite interactions.
- Prior success scaling an organization’s financial infrastructure by improving budgeting, reporting and internal controls.
- Strategic thinker with exceptional technical skills, analytical ability, and superb judgment.
- M&A execution and integration experience preferred.
