We are seeking a highly experienced Executive Assistant to support the CEO of a dynamic and rapidly growing startup in the government tech space. This is a pivotal role that requires a proactive, organized, and nimble individual who excels in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. The ideal candidate is tech savvy and will possess a background in tech and/or a startup. While this role is fully in-office in Fairfield, CA, our client is open to candidates from anywhere in the U.S (they will offer relocation assistance).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CEO, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
- Prepare and organize materials for meetings, including presentations and reports.
- Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and follow-up on key initiatives.
- Manage special projects and contribute to strategic planning efforts.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Adapt to changing priorities and demands, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
- Occasionally travel with the CEO (approximately once a month) for business-related engagements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role, preferably in a tech startup or government-related environment.
- Strong understanding of technology tools and platforms, with a knack for leveraging them to enhance productivity.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with government and political processes is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced setting.
Location: onsite in Fairfield, CA (open to candidates from anywhere in the U.S.).
Compensation and benefits: up to $200k DOE, great benefits and equity.
