Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AI / Cybersecurity individual to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will train future AI / Cybersecurity Specialists in the classroom setting. As a faculty member you will teach students about the crucial role these individuals play in safeguarding business organization's digital assets and information.
Duties:
- Train students in data analytics, software engineering, and other AI related areas.
- Train students in machine learning, cryptography and digital forensics.
- Train in implementation and management of security measures to protect computer systems, networks and data.
- Train students in the development and implementation of incident response plans to address security breaches, documentation, assessment of damages and more
- Train students how to work in collaboration with IT teams to ensure system security compliance with industry standards
- Help students learn how to stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred but not required. Documented formal training or certifications accepted in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven work experience in AI or as a IT Security Specialist or similar role and Java, Linux and encoding techniques
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies
- Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, cloud architecture, and system security
- Hands-on experience with incident response procedures and tools
- Proven work experience and/or relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security or scripting languages like PowerShell and Shell Scripting a plus.
Full-time would consist of teaching morning and evening classes Monday through Thursdays. No Fridays or weekends. Some administrative duties.
