Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, 12-hour shifts Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum one year of previous successful travel assignment License: Must have a valid RN license Certifications: COVID vaccine required, medical or religious exceptions accepted Must-Have: Epic electronic medical record experience, ability to float as needed within skillset Job Description: - Participate in a program where offers must be accepted or declined within 48 hours. - Be available to start as soon as possible. - Work a schedule of 36 hours per week. - Some holiday requests for time off allowed; must work 2 out of 3 specified holidays. - No on-call requirement. - Expected to work every third weekend. - Support all areas within the facility as required. - Nurse to patient ratio maintained between 1:1 and 1:2. - Common conditions encountered include respiratory failure, status asthmaticus, ingestion, trauma, and post-operative care. - Perform special procedures like intubation, central line placement, and dressing changes.
