Human factors aspects include, but are not limited to: user anthropometrics, location and design of systems and equipment users interact with, ingress and egress, reach, visibility, user strength, comfort, workload, human error, FHA validation, and maintenance accessibility.
Human factors aspects are defined and evaluated using the following techniques and platforms.
Design definition using hand sketches, PowerPoint, or other software. Works with CAD modelers to implement.
Analyses (task analyses, human error analyses).
Desktop reviews / interviews with users.
CAD evaluations (e.g., manikin reach and vision).
Virtual / Mixed Reality, Mockup, Simulator, Aircraft.
Define requirements related to human factors aspects.
