My client is a 30 year old full service General Contractor looking to add a Senior Project Manager following a year of record growth. Their projects including Heavy Industrial, Automotive, Manufacturing, and Wastewater ranging from $1-$20M with self-perform capabilities for Concrete, Steel, Civils, Millwright and Rigging. Their ownership team is heavily invested in growth and the well-being of their employees.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, scheduling, scope, and execution of projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within scope.
- Lead and manage self-perform crews, providing direction, support, and supervision to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
- Develop and manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure efficient allocation of resources
- Implement and enforce quality control measures, conduct inspections, and ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Conduct safety meetings and ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols
- Maintain effective communication with leadership, clients, architects, and owners
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Construction Experience
- Successful track record running Industrial or Automotive projects valued at $5M+
- Self Perform experience preferred (Steel, Concrete, Sitework, etc)
- Proficiency in Procore or other construction software
- BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent preferred
- OSHA Certified
- Ability to travel bi-weekly to job sites (2 days every other week)
