Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Licensed Health Insurance Agent to join our growing remote team. As a remote agent, you will assist customers in selecting the best health insurance plans to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, deep knowledge of health insurance products, and the ability to work independently from a home office. You'll have access to ongoing training and support, with opportunities to earn high commissions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized recommendations for health insurance plans, including Medicare, ACA (Affordable Care Act), individual and family plans, and supplemental insurance.
- Educate potential clients about plan details, including premiums, copays, deductibles, and coverage options.
- Assist customers in enrolling in health insurance plans and help them understand their benefits.
- Stay up-to-date on changes to healthcare regulations, ACA open enrollment, and Medicare guidelines.
- Build rapport and trust with clients while handling sensitive personal information.
- Use CRM tools to track client interactions, follow up on leads, and close sales.
- Work with insurance carriers to ensure accurate processing of applications.
Qualifications:
- Active Health Insurance License in [State(s)] (or ability to become licensed in multiple states).
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the health insurance industry.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Comfortable using technology to manage client communications, applications, and documents.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Experience working in a call center or remote environment is a plus.
