**About the Role**
The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing departmental staff, managing client relationships, and leading the bidding, estimating, and quoting processes. This role requires deep expertise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial or commercial settings.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage client relations, including communication, design, planning, and cost estimation.
- Oversee billing processes for accounts receivable.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
- Develop new business opportunities for the department.
- Provide field support if necessary to meet manpower requirements.
- Manage project timelines and prepare competitive bids.
**Key Qualifications**
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications for industrial equipment installations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and bidding software.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Valid CDL-A license.
- Technical degree or higher.
