I'm currently seeking a Controls Engineer to join a Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturer based in New Jersey. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small company where you'll design, develop, and supervise all aspects of electrical control systems and provide technical support of PLC based hardware and software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design electrical and control systems using engineering principles and market needs.
- Create both project-specific and standardized bills of materials, along with electrical schematics.
- Program Emerson PAC's / GE Cimplicity Programming
- Analyze client needs, define design parameters, solve engineering issues, and ensure accurate, budget-compliant solutions.
- Interact professionally with clients to address and resolve technical issues related to system controls.
- Offer technical support to both external and internal clients.
- Troubleshoot operational issues related to projects to prevent delays and control unexpected costs.
- Adhere to all safety and legal standards in the execution of work.
- Assist the sales team with technical concepts and budgeting during the pre-sales phase.
- Design software for tailored solutions, including manufacturing automation and safety systems.
Job Requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C# and .Net.
- Capital equipment manufacturing experience in Semiconductor, thin films or coating industries is preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Valid driver's license.
