Summary -
Systems Analysts are responsible for the definition, refinement, design, testing, and implementation of highly technical requirements based on the business/functional requirements communicated by the Product Owner. System Analysts are also responsible for the preparation and publication of technical documentation (e.g., release notes) that support the continuous delivery of software. Systems Analysts are experts in identifying and analyzing defects within their products, and work with various members of a delivery team to ensure the deliverables produced align with the guidelines and standards defined by architects.
The Systems Analyst will work with, and when needed, lead cross-functional development teams and vendors to deliver high quality products based on collaborative vision and values through a steady release plan using agile delivery methods as well as performing system, application and data analysis. The work will include developing, testing, and supporting user and data interfaces providing direction on technical designs and the configuration of the Point of Sale platforms; collaborating with business stakeholders, business analysts, IT infrastructure, and development teams to capture, justify, and prioritize technology needs and issues; and performing the tasks necessary to develop and implement new solutions in CLIENT's Point of Sale environment.
