Role: Oracle HCM Technical Lead/Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Leads organizing, planning, managing, and executing multi-phase, multi-track medium to large scale initiatives from definition through implementation. Consults the Release Manager to identify the release windows for a project, incorporating release tasks into the project plan.
Key Areas: Software Development Life Cycle
1. Must have knowledge of SQL, HR Data Loader, HCM Extracts, Payroll Batch Loader, Oracle Security, REST API and Oracle Integration Cloud
2. Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
3. Must have completed 4 or more implementations of Oracle HCM in one of the following modules in a technical capacity: Core HR, Benefits, Talent Management, Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Taleo, Payroll, Time and Labor, Absence
- Day-to-day activities of the project, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of the project management process, Interaction of project tasks, project risks, benefit realization, and budget
- Understands all the release tasks that need to be incorporated into the project plan and ensure that they are staffed
- Ensures the project delivery team is leveraging existing release tools, guidelines, checklists etc. required by release.
- Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of all Payroll, HR and HRIT initiatives, which aids in steering decisions for demand and release management.
- Collaborates with the HR Project Lead to facilitate the coordination of HR Change Control procedures.
- Develop communication tools and tollgates to track all of the independent workstreams (WFSA, HRIT, Managed Services team, Payroll) development work. This includes collaborating with HR project lead(s) to effectively manage resources, demand, and business needs throughout the entire SDLC.
- Provides support to HR in prioritizing defect and project work.
Vendor Management
- Manage all communication to our downstream integration vendors (20+) for all “IT” related changes such as upgrades and outages.
- Work with IT management for on time payment of all vendor invoices.
- Monitor all expenses associated with an AR and continuously maintain the balance.
- Onboard and offboard all contractors including managing all of the necessary security.
Meetings
- Set up, manage attendance, and compile and maintain meeting notes for all required meetings initiated by HRIT.
- Attend all high-level relevant project meetings across all workstreams to maintain a knowledge of all initiatives.
