Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Behavioral Health Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: 2+ years in Behavioral Health Unit, Psychiatry required License: Iowa License (background checks required, including Criminal and Child Abuse) Certifications: Mandatory Reporter Certification for both Child and Adult Must-Have: Travel experience required Job Description: - Provide compassionate and individualized care to adult patients with behavioral health needs, including managing anxiety, depression, manic disorders, borderline personality, and suicidal ideation. - Collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients and their families. - Utilize MediTech EHR system to document patient care accurately and efficiently. - Adapt to float within a 25-mile radius if required, maintaining high standards of care across different units. - Attend to a patient ratio of approximately 1:6 on a unit with 14 beds and an average daily census of seven. - Comply with all onboarding requirements, including a 10-panel drug screening. - Maintain flexibility for Monday or Tuesday start dates and adhere to the required dress code, with scrubs of any color acceptable.
