Position Summary:
We are looking for Electrical Control Engineers at various experience levels. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, programming, developing, and testing electrical control systems and machinery. Additional responsibilities include system startups and offering technical support for both hardware and software.
- Entry-Level Engineers: We seek individuals eager to learn how to write PLC software, contribute to automation system development, and support the Controls Group.
- Mid-Senior Level Engineers: Applicants with advanced programming experience who can lead software development and system optimization projects are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and support automation products and projects, including:
- Programming using Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagrams
- Designing user interfaces
- Drafting and implementing acceptance and commissioning procedures
- Managing automation documentation and revision control
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and marketing to deliver innovative product designs.
- Prototype, test, and troubleshoot real-world performance issues during system startup phases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Creativity, problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and assist others in their development.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Rockwell Software, Siemens, Phoenix Contact, or Modicon platforms.
- Experience with system testing and commissioning.
- Prior experience developing new products or enhancing existing systems is an advantage.
