Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days (07:00-19:30) every other weekend Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required Certifications: - Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS - ACLS - NIHSS Must-Have: - PCU and basic EKG experience preferred - Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required Job Description: - Provide direct patient care for acutely ill patients who are moderately stable with an elevated risk for instability. - Utilize advanced knowledge and experience in a setting that requires advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions. - Participate in the delivery of patient care with high standards of competency. - Adapt to the unique needs of the progressive care unit environment. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EPIC). - Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications.
