Position Description: Our client (Global Leading Public Health Organization) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern front-end technologies and frameworks, with a passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. This role will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to develop and maintain web applications.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development.
- Project management experience.
- Proficiency in front-end development with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Experience with state management, form handling, animations, interactive maps, and data visualizations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Summary of Duties:
- Develop and maintain user-friendly interfaces using modern frameworks and tools, including JavaScript, React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Ensure code quality, optimize performance, and maintain UI components utilizing libraries and tools such as tRPC, @tanstack/react-query, Mapbox GL, Lodash, and Storybook.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure robust and reliable applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and stay updated with industry trends.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
