COGS has partnered with a boutique, renowned Building Envelope Consulting firm in NYC as they seek to expand after the summer construction slow down.
They are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Building Restoration Project Manager to join their growing team in New York City, a well cultured and well oiled business specializing in the design, assessment, and rehabilitation of building envelopes & facades. Their projects span a diverse range of building types, including commercial, residential, and institutional structures.
Salary up to 135K DOE
This position plays a pivotal role in evaluating the condition of building facades and roofs, preparing comprehensive reports, and providing expert recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth building envelope assessments and prepare detailed reports.
- Oversee construction projects to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Perform specialized testing to identify building envelope deficiencies.
- Develop cost-effective repair and remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with clients and design teams to achieve project goals.
- FISP/LL11 Reports in accordance with DOB requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building envelope consulting.
- Strong understanding of building science principles and construction practices.
- Proficiency in building envelope materials and systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
