We are seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer with experience in Design and Validation for an R/D team tasked with building next generation products for a multi billion dollar market. This organization creates IoT products ranging from smart lighting to robotics.
Requirements:
- 5+ years as an electrical design engineer / product developer based on education completed
- 5+ years’ experience with responsibility for complete development of test platform from initial product specification to project completion
- Strong knowledge of digital and analog electronics, circuit analysis, and evaluating hardware required
- Proficiency in schematic capture tools for PCB layout.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and analog/digital circuitry.
- Experience with electrical safety standards, EMC and environmental compliance desired
- Experience in design for long life / high MTBF preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical/thermal/packaging design for industrial electronics
