What You'll Do:
Benefit Point
- Create/Remove/Edit Users, Payees and Carriers
- Manage carriers via Security Committee updates.
- Monthly BenefitPoint QCing tasks.
- Archived/Cadency Report
- Lost Business Report
- Plan Department Audit
- Create Standard Splits, perform Split Audits
- Create new Brokerages upon acquisition conversion
- Manage BenefitPoint issues/problems with Vertafore and bring to full resolution for offices.
- Process Global Changes
- Edit/Add Activity templates.
- Run Monthly EPIC OEB Report and provide to applicable EB Ops leaders.
- Generate information for monthly newsletter specific to BenefitPoint
- Set up any customization or run any required scripts.
- Arrange and oversee Taskforce projects for manual data updates.
- Serve as Regional Data Champion for Project Liftoff through conversion estimated 2026.
- Review monthly new hire and separation emails from HR to ensure license charges cease for Benefit Point users across region. Email lead and copy Lauren Risby.
- Communicate and work with all IT teams for testing and projects outside of EB department.
- Perform Semi-Annual Utilization Audit to identify users that have not logged in to BenefitPoint more than 10 times since Jan 2024. Send to office EB Ops leads to review and ask if they should remain with access or change to non-user.
- Review Users Access and update to @AP email domain post earn out once IT approval is received.
- Perform Carrier Audits to prevent duplicate adds.
- Assist in additional tasks as requested
Acquisitions & Conversions
- Oversee system conversions by working with the Corporate Implementation Team and managing all tasks assigned by the implementation team.
- Identify all EB AMS users, service team members, and payees. Create in BP as required.
- Obtain producer and agency licenses documenting in BP under Payee profile.
- Obtain and maintain all M&A documents (W9, Bill of Sale, Integration WB, DBA confirmations, etc.)
- Request client and policy and vet new agency EB data coming to AP. QC data before it is loaded into BenefitPoint.
- Run final report after Taskforce data entry projects and identify errors.
- Inform agencies of post conversion cleanup tasks and offer training as needed.
- Arrange training for new agency Benefit Point users with AP corporate team
- Work with Corporate Implementation Team managing tasks for conversion
- Send Go Live notice to regional team post trainings.
- Assist in additional tasks as requested
Licensing and Contracting
- Create and obtain signatures for W9 as needed.
- Obtain agency license per state required.
- Obtain agency banking information if any updates are needed.
- Identify Lead to assist with questions from carriers.
- Identify agency new name and TIN/obtain and save documents. If DBA is being used, obtain Regional Integration Workbook before proceeding with contracting changes.
- Send email to update name and tin to all carriers (bcc) listed on raw data report/policy upload template.
- Complete any necessary paperwork and have all docs endorsed and dated by producer or agency president as needed.
- Follow-up with unresponsive carriers and see through completion.
- Update all carrier commission payments to new agency bank account.
- Connect monthly with agency lead on progress until complete.
- Work with new agencies on contracting until earnout periods expires.
- Manage and distribute current AP E&O certs to all offices new and existing.
- Assist in additional tasks as requested
What You'll Need:
- 2 years of Employee Benefits / Life and Health insurance experience in marketing, brokerage, sales, service or underwriting preferred
- Proficient in Excel
- Implentation experience preferred
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Tech savvy; ability to navigate multiple systems including Agency Management Software
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products
