Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Promotes positive relations, manages public relations, complaint handling, and variance/complaint log. Handles incoming calls, outgoing information, and personal interactions.
- Coordinates meetings, luncheons, travel arrangements, and prepares reports, agendas, and materials for board and committee meetings. Participates in external agency surveys like JCAHO and the State of Iowa.
- Manages Outlook calendars, assists with correspondence, edits/proofs communication materials, and updates online Administrative Policies and Procedures. Organizes filing systems for reports, minutes, and reference materials.
- Completes KRONOS time entries for designated staff and prepares patient safety and quality improvement data for internal and external reporting.
- Analyzes operational data, ensures accuracy, provides monthly reports to leadership, supports Performance Improvement with presentations and documents, and leads assigned projects from planning to evaluation.

Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.) required; two years of college or equivalent experience in healthcare considered; Associate's Degree in a relevant field preferred.
- 7 years of administrative support experience for senior leaders; prior experience in personnel administration or project management desired.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and manage multiple assignments and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong proofreading and editing abilities.
- Skilled in taking and preparing meeting minutes, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership, physicians, staff, and customers.
- Strong planning, delegation, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills to positively represent the organization and department.
