We truly understand the need for balance and, among other things and offer a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. That’s 26 long weekends a year!
Job Duties:
- Electronics Assembly (specifically, we have a strong need for hand soldering experience, IPC training/certification preferred)
- Troubleshooting electronic parts
- Soldering and Testing Circuit Boards
- Set up and electrical testing using automated and semi-automated test equipment.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Documentation and filling out reports/forms to ensure traceability and quality conformance
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 10 years’ + experience in a highly regulated industry (like Medical Devices) is ideal. The ability to work with the use of a microscope and excellent manual dexterity (working with both of your hands) is required.
- Understanding of the skill required for small, delicate ESD sensitive assemblies is essential.
- Need expert level soldering ability (IPC Certification preferred).
Nice to have:
Experience with mechanical assembly, welding, brazing, epoxy and adhesives, casting and molding. Previous assembly technician experience in medical device, automotive, aerospace or consumer electronics may help.
