Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid-ish role for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, LBA at Phoenix Autism Center. The role involves conducting behavior assessments, creating behavior intervention plans, providing parent education, and implementing Applied Behavior Analysis techniques to help children with ASD reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals with autism and related disorders, utilizing applied behavior analysis to provide effective interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement behavior intervention programs based on applied behavior analysis principles
- Provide supervision and training to behavior technicians and other staff members
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulations
Requirements:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Knowledge of special education practices and principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and colleagues
