We are currently looking to add a Lean Leader to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and improving plant performance in the areas of automation, safety, quality, production output, and operating cost.
Process Evaluation and Improvement:
- Identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution and reporting of quality improvement projects, focusing on overall process improvements, scrap reduction, and incoming supplier quality.
- Execute LEAN manufacturing techniques and design.
- Root cause analysis 8D problem solving experience.
- Lead value stream mapping exercises to determine and record business improvement.
- Track and execute cost reduction for process improvements.
Quality Control and Waste Reduction:
- Lead quality-related activities and ensure QMS compliance.
Employee Productivity Enhancement:
- Develop and sustain employees training and development on lean concepts.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years with proven experience utilizing Six Sigma/or Lean Manufacturing initiatives in a production environment.
- Work experience with implementation of adaptable robotics/automation preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- At least 5 years' experience in a Lean Leadership position.
- Lean six sigma green belt certification.
