POSITION SUMMARY
The SBU Strategy & Planning Senior Manager supports key operational activities, department planning and strategic analysis on behalf of the Strategic Business Unit. Reporting to the EVP of Core Client Operations, the Senior Manager enables efficient and timely operation of the department, serves as a liaison across corporate groups and will be instrumental in the unit’s continued growth and evolution as a client-facing service. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, drive efficiency, and ensure seamless client service delivery.
This position requires a strong background in operations, finance, data analysis and project management, coupled with executive communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

OBJECTIVES
- Generate and maintain comprehensive reports on department performance, project milestones, and financial outcomes
- Support the day-to-day operations of the client-facing department and identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and client/team satisfaction
- Manage the creation and submission of training for new team members of the department and collaborate with Corporate PMO to improve processes and content as practices and tools evolve
- Lead ad-hoc business data analysis and reporting, as directed by the EVP, offering insights and recommendations to drive strategic decisions
- Lead the internal professional development forum for select members of the SBU Advisor community
- Lead new Client administration, including contracting, on-boarding,integration and hand-off from the Platform Team
- Administer and analyze SBU Client surveys and feedback to support strategic decision making
- Conduct routine client service agreement audits and proactively communicate needs for contract renewal to senior management

COMPETENCIES
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on optimizing processes for efficiency and effectiveness, as well as ability to develop, implement and monitor best practices across the department
- Confidence and tact to hold leadership and executive team accountable to deadlines through proactive communication, clear accountability and discipline necessary for department growth
- Proven track record in managing multiple projects and delivering results on time and within budget
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Comfortable analyzing financial reports and presenting key insights to stakeholders
- Highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets in order to generate data analyses and internal reports
- Familiar with principles of effective project management, in order to keep track of various projects and on-going tasks.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in a business operations, planning or internal strategy role, preferably in a client-service industry
- Experience with Asana Project Management software preferred

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
