Hardesty is seeking a qualified Marketing and Communications Manager for a client based in Irvine, California. Our client provides executive business and consulting services for a large variety of middle-market companies nationwide.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to learn our services, unique value propositions, and corporate structure to effectively present the firm’s qualifications and win new projects. This individual must be an excellent time manager (capable of leading several pursuits at once) and motivated by growth opportunities. The “right” candidate will have the following attributes: strong writing/proofreading abilities, attention to detail, deadline-oriented, enjoys multi-tasking, quick learner, self-starter, and proactive team player. This is a full-time role based in “Class A” Corporate offices in Irvine, CA. This position also provides an opportunity for advancement based upon performance and company growth.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Interact with management, partners and interim staff
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them on a timely basis
- Establish and evaluate a marketing strategy and plan
- Communicating campaign deliverables, objectives and timelines to their team while providing instructions for promotion or use
- Planning and managing all aspects of marketing conferences, events and meetings including event logistics, signage, advertising and audience participation
- Proofreading of marketing material, and maintaining an inventory and directory of marketing materials while coordinating new material creation as needed
- Developing various types of marketing deliverables, including social media posts, blog posts and print materials
- Monitoring and analyzing metrics to track the success of marketing campaigns
- Managing and coordinating tasks outsourced to external vendors, such as printing companies
- Light administrative duties – including but not limited to scheduling for CEO and MP’s
- Managing marketing platforms and technology including but not limited to Survey Monkey, MailChimp, Event Bright, LinkedIn, AddEvent, PR Web, company's Website, Google Analytics, SEO Monitor & Zoom
Key Attributes and Experience:
- At least 3 years of marketing experience
- Proficient or better computer skills, specifically MS Office/Excel
- Microsoft Dynamics Experience
- Professional services or marketing firm experience a plus
- Use of Social Networking tools including LinkedIn, Facebook and others
