Overview:
Our client is a seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join their Infrastructure, cloud, and communications team. As an infrastructure engineer, you will be responsible for various systems, both on premises and in the cloud.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
- Strong background in managing and administering various IT systems, with expertise in O365 email administration, Windows server systems administration, remote access solutions, Teams calling, and PKI management.
- Tier 2 and 3 hardware and software support and working with the larger IT department to ensure business continuity (BC) and disaster recovery (DR) readiness.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the O365 email environment, ensuring security, compliance, and performance are met.
- Implement and manage various aspects of Microsoft’s IaaS, perform routine maintenance and patching on server infrastructure to ensure reliability and availability while maintaining security best practices.
- Configure, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot VPN and Horizon VDI solutions, and administer and manage Public Key Infrastructure to ensure secure certificate issuance and management.
- Knowledge of Teams calling administration is required.
- Assist in the development of the firm’s BC and DR plans and procedures to ensure systems are recoverable in the event of a disaster.
- Providing advanced support for hardware and software issues while collaborating with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems is also part of the role.
- On-call to remediate critical problems with networks, systems, security alerts, and notifications.
- Focus will be on projects and support of back-end infrastructure systems, including but not limited to virtualization, cloud, compute, and security.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff, participate in technology evaluations, and recommend new technologies to improve network performance and security.
- Periodic travel is required, and you may also be responsible for special projects.
- Contact with a diverse group of workforce members is common in this role, over the phone, e-mail, and in person.
- Knowledge of the firm’s technology is necessary to successfully complete most responsibilities, along with familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT department.
