ASSOCIATE PRODUCT MANAGER

Process and results driven value oriented Associate Product Manager with 3-4+ years of apparel experience in Private Label environment. Position requires previous exposure to tech design, WIP management, development, and calendar. Must be very organized and have an analytical approach to problem solving in a fast-paced environment. Forward looking and focused on achieving corporate objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the process from “Development” through “Production”.
- Work directly with sourcing agents and factory personnel to ensure materials, pre-production samples, fit samples, pre-production, and production processes are managed properly to ensure quality, on-time product. Management of production timelines as needed.
- Assist early in development process to manage pre allocation of styles.
- Track all protos, preproduction, advertising, and TOP samples.
- Assist in the management of placement of Purchase Orders
- Assist in monitoring production status of all programs by season.
- WIP management. Assist in collection of WIPs from all vendors. Send out communications to factories regarding WIP as directed by the Product Manager.
- Build strong working relationships with vendors & cross functional teams to help foster an environment of partnership and trust.
- Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
- Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
- Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
- 3-4+ years of experience working in a private brand environment
- Some experience working with Asian/Indian suppliers and factories specializing in manufacturing apparel
- Must possess the ability to work independently and be adept at problem solving
- Ability to work cohesively with teammates and partners
- Communicate effectively on Video Conference, email, phone and in person.

PAY RANGE: $27.00-$32.00/hr.*
*compensation varies based on geography, skills, experience, and tenure
