Our client is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to be based no further than 1 hour from Boston/Cambridge. This candidate will be responsible for the sale of automated laboratory equipment into biotechnology, academic, government, and pharmaceutical research facilities in the assigned territory. Additional responsibilities include managing existing accounts as well as gaining new business.
Requirements:
- B.S. (in the sciences A PLUS but not required)
- Life Science Capital Equipment Sales experience
- Account knowledge within MA
- Desire and ability to prospect for leads and strategically grow their business across the territory
- Team player plus must have the ability to work independently
- Driven, passionate with a proven track record of success
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability for some overnight travel
- Based no further than 1 hour from Boston/Cambridge
