We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pega Developer to join our dynamic team in Memphis, Austin TX, Plains, NJ, or St.Louis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of Pega applications v8 or Higher, ensuring they align with business needs and technical standards. As a senior developer, you will be expected to have some architecture knowledge, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall strategy for process automation and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pega Application Development:
- Design, build, and configure Pega applications, focusing on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Lead the development of workflows, case management solutions, and integrations using Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander).
- Develop and implement reusable components, workflows, APIS, frameworks, and Pega best practices.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into functional Pega solutions.
- System Design & Architecture:
- Participate in architecture design discussions and provide insights for Pega-based solutions.
- Ensure all Pega implementations are aligned with enterprise architectural standards and adhere to Pega's guardrails.
- Mentorship & Leadership:
- Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and support.
- Lead code reviews and ensure high-quality development standards across the team.
- Collaborate with project managers, testers, and other developers to ensure project timelines and quality expectations are met.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with Pega applications, providing innovative solutions.
- Optimize performance of Pega applications by tuning configurations and code.
- Ensure the security, availability, and stability of all Pega solutions in production environments.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Pega development, with expertise in Pega 8.x or later versions.
- Strong experience with Pega PRPC and its core components, including case management, decision rules, and Pega APIs.
- Solid experience in Pega integrations with external systems using SOAP, REST, and other APIs.
- Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience in Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) Pega Data Pages.
- Knowledge of Pega DevOps (CI/CD), Jenkins, and automation frameworks, Pega Data Pages highly desirable
- Pega certifications (CSA, CSSA, LSA) are highly desirable.
