Title: Auto Underwriting Supervisor, Personal Lines
Location: Chicago, IL
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify training needs and assist in designing training programs
- Track and report on processing and phone performance standards
- Perform monthly assigned number of underwriting and processing audits
- Provide input for performance appraisals on processing, underwriting quality and quantity
- Provide input for any processing or underwriting related performance issues
- Develop positive and productive relationships with Independent Producers
- Collaborates with internal departments in the areas of Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, Accounting, and HR to ensure operational efficiencies at the branch level
- Continuously logged into the Personal Lines ACD
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 + years of underwriting experience
- Strong knowledge of technical underwriting
- Ability to work independently on technical and administrative matters
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
