POSITION OVERVIEW: TEC Group is seeking a dynamic Civil Project Manager and a Civil Engineer to add to our industry leading construction client's team. In this role you will be responsible for managing land development projects from inception to completion for the PM role. For the Civil Engineering role, you will work along-side of Project Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage project teams including Engineers, Designers, CAD Technicians.
- Manage sub-contractors and consultants
- Coordinate schedules for projects through completion of project
- Responsible for resolving technical issues and maintaining quality control protocols during the lifecycle of the project
- Perform site visits, coordinate bid documents, and submittal reviews
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET university or college
- Registered P.E. (current) in South Carolina or ability to obtain a South Carolina P.E.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and train staff.
- 5+ years of engineering experience with Land Development projects
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Project
- Strong technical writing skills to include contract documents, project summary reports, work plans, etc.
PAY IS DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE LEVEL. THERE IS FLEXIBILITY ON THE TOP END FOR A STRONG PM WITH A P.E. LICENSE AND 5 OR MORE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE.
