Java Developer (mid-level)
This is an exciting opportunity to join a top-notch consulting company providing external clients with innovative cloud and greenfield development solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development of custom cloud applications for customers in Java
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software modules
- Use AWS or Azure APIs to create cloud-native software solutions
- Contribute & maintain automated unit and integration tests
- Deploy, run, and monitor AWS or Azure production systems
- Contribute to detailed architectural plans to fit client requirements, and lead the build and implementation efforts through to delivery
- Participate in requirements reviews and other technical discussions
- Work as part of a highly collaborative agile team
- Handle large volumes of complex technical details, workstreams, and interdependencies
- Work as part of a highly collaborative agile team
- Consult with external clients
This opportunity is a direct-hire position in Buckhead. You can telecommute two days a week. You will work on new and innovative cloud greenfield development projects. - REQUIRED SKILLS:3 to 7 years of Java cloud development experience with a focus on new development
- Strong AWS or Azure cloud development experience (must be comfortable working with both), including the ability to design and build end-to-end cloud-native solutions
- Spring Boot
- 3+ years of experience and regular use of SQL, including designing SQL and data model
- Strong understanding of design patterns, algorithmic concepts, and software engineering best practices
- Ability to consult with external clients
- Consultative personality and excellent communication skills
- A passion for learning
