The Human Resources Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department by managing various administrative tasks and ensuring compliance with employment laws. This position is responsible for facilitating employee orientation, maintaining employee records, and assisting with strategic planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and be familiar with HR software systems such as Paychex, Kronos, Paylocity, and Workday.
Key responsibilities include:
Inputting hours and running semimonthly payroll through our 3rd party payroll software
Recording payroll transactions in our financial software
Onboarding and offboarding employees
Managing employee profiles, including PTO accrual, reporting hierarchies, etc.
Working with our payroll provider regarding benefits administration and management
Provide support in resolving employee inquiries and issues in a timely manner
Workers compensation and general liability insurance audits
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Skills:
Proficient in employee orientation processes and onboarding practices.
Familiarity with employment labor law regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience using HR software systems such as Paychex, Kronos, Paylocity, and Workday.
Knowledge of organization design principles to enhance workforce effectiveness
