Job Summary:
The Industrial Laundered Account Director is responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients in the industrial laundry sector. This role involves strategic planning, client service management, and operational oversight to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and business performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of the industrial laundry sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing client needs and resolving any issues that arise.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with service delivery.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review performance, discuss opportunities for improvement, and identify new business opportunities.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to meet client needs and exceed their expectations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and align service offerings to support these objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Operational Oversight:
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contractual obligations and quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve operational issues and implement process improvements.
- Oversee the implementation of new services or changes to existing services as requested by clients.
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue opportunities for account expansion and new business development within existing client accounts.
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to secure additional business.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, including service metrics, financial performance, and client feedback.
- Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in account management, with a focus on the industrial laundry or related sector.
- Proven track record of managing high-value accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of industrial laundry processes, equipment, and service standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive decision-making and strategic planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and visit operational sites.
- Capable of working in various environments, including industrial settings.
