Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: 3, 12-hour shifts - 36 hours in one workweek Experience: 18 months of experience required License: Must have in-state or compact license in hand for immediate start; if starting later, must have begun the licensing process Certifications: Required certifications as per unit description Must-Have: - Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs - Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays - Complete 12 hours of orientation Job Description: - Registered Nurse with a specialty in PCU to work in an acute adaptable unit. - Flexibility is required, as the clinician may need to float to inpatient acuity adaptable units. - The position allows for a discussion on accommodating a block schedule. - Candidates must have graduated from a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE. - Compliance with required vaccinations is necessary, excluding the COVID-19 vaccine, though the flu vaccine is required with possible exemptions. - Local residents generally not accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, and ER positions; however, surgical services, allied positions, and clinics will consider local travelers. - Floating may occur within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals.
