About the Role:
Rural Staffing Services (RSS) is on the hunt for a Revenue Cycle Director for a wonderful hospital in Oregon. This is your chance to join a team dedicated to making a difference and to help shape the financial future of our clients' patients and communities. You'll work under the CFO, leading the charge in managing and improving revenue processes. Plus, you'll build and lead a top-notch revenue cycle team for long-term success.
What You'll Do:
- Manage Operations: Oversee daily functions like patient accounting, billing, and collections.
- Optimize Systems: Plan and supervise the deployment of financial data systems and processes.
- Develop Talent: Create and run training programs to boost the skills of our revenue cycle team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- 5 years in a medical facility’s business operations, preferably in a Critical Access Hospital.
- 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience with electronic health records is a must.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Compensation, and commercial insurance billing.
- Proficiency with medical billing software and coding.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
