Federal Proposal Manager/Coordinator,

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Federal Proposal Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate proposal efforts for multi-million-dollar federal Request for Proposal (RFP) opportunities. This role involves managing a small proposal team and ensuring the timely submission of high-quality, compliant proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate proposal development efforts from initial RFP analysis through final winning proposal submission
- Manage a small team of proposal writers, subject matter experts, and other contributors
- Develop proposal outlines, content plans, and writing assignments
- Ensure proposals meet all RFP requirements and evaluation criteria
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to gather necessary information
- Manage proposal timelines and ensure all deadlines are met
- Conduct proposal reviews and coordinate review cycles
- Oversee proposal production, including formatting, graphics, and packaging
- Maintain proposal knowledge base and contribute to process improvements
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals that meet client requirements and align with company goals.
- Ability to understand and contribute Past Performance write-up for the active proposals
- Assists, reviews and provided Go/No-Go decisions on federal opportunities
- Collaborates with leadership in managing Teaming Agreements, NDA, other legal documentation
- Contributes writing to Management sections, past performance sections
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, English, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in proposal management, preferably with federal government proposals
- Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and FAR regulations
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel
- Experience with proposal management software a plus
