Pride Health is hiring a Mammography Technologist to support our client's hospital facility in Columbia, MD. This is a 13-week contractrole – open to local and travellers.
ROLE: Under general supervision and in consultation with the Radiologist performs mammographic procedures of a routine and difficult nature.
Duties:
- Performs procedures accurately. Applies critical thinking skills appropriately. Recognizes emergent situations and responds appropriately.
- Maintains accurate customer medical records. Ensures confidentiality of all medical records.
- Utilizes Imaging and hospital computer systems correctly.
- Interacts with physicians, co-workers, customers, and families in professional manner.
- Has access to medications appropriate to their job duties.
- Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
- The team member is accountable to demonstrate proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list.
- The team member is accountable to maintain skill proficiency, including improvement where deemed necessary, and upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list.
Licensure, Registration, And/or Certification Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent - Required.
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology. - Required
- Previous mammography experience - Required.
- Maryland Radiology License and ARRT (M) required
- BLS(AHA) certification. Required.
Shift Time: Days – Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p
Location: Columbia, MD
Floating Requirements:
Hourly Range: $55-60/hour– travel package can be discussed.
